Account Manager, Infection Control & Life Science Capital- NZ

Getinge are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate to join our NZ Sales team. Reporting to the General Manager, NZ, the Account Manager IC & LS Capital will drive sales and generate new business opportunities for capital equipment whilst managing customer relationships within the Infection Control and Life Science product portfolios across New Zealand in Hospital, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Biomedical Research and Laboratory sectors. Please note: regional travel is a requirement for success in this role.

 

This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who excels in sales, understands customer needs, and can effectively communicate the value of our products and services. The ideal candidate will be motivated by targets, skilled in negotiation, and committed to achieving the sales goal.

 

 

The Account Manager IC & LS Capital role is responsible for:

 

  • Developing and implementing IC & LS Capital strategic plan and business strategies including executing high potential products go-to-market plans across New Zealand
  • Identify and target potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Maintaining key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
  • Presenting and demonstrating products or services to prospective clients

  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels

  • Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners
  • Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment
  • Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows and MS office
  • Have a high comfort level in various health care/medical settings and environments
