We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Clinical Application Specialist to contribute towards Getinge Thailand organization and develop Surgical Workplaces business unit.

Please note that this position is offered as a 2-year contract.

Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for providing clinical support and marketing activity in respective area. Providing technical direction and support to customers on operation and maintenance of company products. Serve as customer contact on technical and service-related problems. Demonstrate uses and advantages of products. Work closely with Sales, Logistics and Quality Regulatory Compliance team to address customer concerns, determine corrective action and customer follow-up.

Day to day responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide Clinical support activity related to Surgical Workplaces products.
  • Self-development of product knowledge with provide Clinical Support as consultant for Healthcare Professional in Operating Room of Surgery procedure, Operating Table, Operating Light and Fluoptics.
  • Provide sales training in terms of product knowledge for Operating Table, Operating Light and Fluoptics.
  • Engage directly with healthcare professionals (e.g., surgeons, nurses, administrators) to understand their pain points, needs, and expectations and keep update on market trend and clinical challenge.
  • Responsible for product demonstrations and manage evaluation equipment.
  • Preparation and documentation of tender specifications.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain tender specifications and related documentation.
  • Build a relationship with Key customer and KOL development.
  • Conduct regular product competitive analysis as well as market insight in products from the company and competitors use to drive improvement by sharing with the team.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities to support product positioning and market engagement.
  • Support all sales activities and relative action.
  • Build trust and credibility with healthcare professions by adhering to regulatory and ethical standards.

Your experience includes: 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Nurse, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field.
  • 1 - 2 years’ experience in clinical role, in within the medical device industry.
  • Understanding of medical device products, clinical applications, and patient care protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information in a clear and compelling manner to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and interpretation of clinical paper.
  • Solid understanding of local healthcare market and hospital hierarchy, application of business concepts, quality procedures and practices.
  • Ability to travel as needed for customer visits, conferences, and other events.
  • Positive attitude and good team player also ability to think and act quickly.
  • Collaborates and lead market update with SAPAC Regional Clinical and Product team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Thai.

This position may require up to 60% travel to engage with customers and support the sales process both domestically and internationally as needed.
