Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Commissioning: Perform commissioning of equipment in compliance with relevant standards and contractual obligations.
  • Customer Interaction: Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers by demonstrating exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in equipment efficiently.
  • Calibration & Testing: Conduct equipment calibration to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare high-quality reports and documentation for customer submissions.
  • Issue Resolution: Collaborate with the team to address challenges that may impact project timelines and ensure smooth equipment handover.
  • Equipment Care & Safety: Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety of company equipment.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Adhere to return procedures, non-conformance reporting, and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Workload Management: Prioritize and manage a dynamic workload, ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a safe and organized work environment, using PPE where required and following health and safety guidelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Apply initiative and logical thinking to effectively address technical challenges.
  • Sales Support: Identify and share potential sales leads with the Sales Manager.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with relevant legislation and internal testing procedures.
  • Reporting & Expenses: Submit written reports and expense claims accurately and on time, with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Logistics & Coordination: Arrange overnight accommodations when necessary and keep internal teams informed about service progress.
  • Customer Engagement: Reach out to customers regarding Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and spare part quotations.
  • Company Policies: Follow company rules, quality management procedures, and health & safety policies at all times.
