Position:

Getinge Colombia is looking for a Business Controller based in Bogotá working for our Spanish South American Region.

 

Purpose:

Supports financial management in achieving timely and accurate reporting of all financial planning scenarios, projects and agreements, business partnering with other functions,  tracking business performance,  sales growth,  profitability and forecast accuracy.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for financial analysis and reporting:  forecasting,  margin variance analysis and special  projects, ensuring consistency of operational  transactions  so that financial  reporting is  accurate and provides relevant management  reporting  and insights.
  • Ensure full adherence to and compliance with corporate policies, directives, and guidelines.
  • Maintain Rolling forecast and coordinate the process, interacting with  all areas of the company ensuring deadlines and quality of reports.
  • Implement planning tools to accurately improve forecasting,  e.g.  Quotes,  consulting.
  • Deliver complete financial information on a monthly  basis;  Actual vs. Forecast vs.  PY from MTD,  QTD,  YTD and  FY;  by Division,  Product Type,  Geography,  GMVA,  etc
  • Provide valuable information on each forecast cycle.  Perform sensitivity analysis on key performance indicators.
  • Actively contribute to financial results  by improving  the visibility of KPIs,  supporting timely business decision-making.
  • Monitoring transfer prices for adequate local profitability.  Aligning profit and cost allocations and lntercompany charge backs.
  • Ensuring adequate revenue and OPEX mapping aligned with business scenarios.
  • Provide information to business leaders to support the achievement of performance objectives (targets).
  • Identify and monitor trends/variances to plan and alert team leaders. issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Track CAPEX investment, supporting reviews of implementation spend and performance against Rolling forecast and other scenarios.
  • Support all audit activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in finance, controlling, or business analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with advanced knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and financial software (e.g., Power BI, Cognos).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a strategic mindset and business acumen.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
