Field Service Engineer IC

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Field Service Engineer – Infection Control to join our Service Team in Queensland. For the right candidate, this role can be based in Townsville, Rockhampton, Bundaberg, or Brisbane. This role also requires Regional Queensland travel to support Getinge customers with maintenance and equipment installations.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Conducting Preventative and Reactive Maintenance for Getinge equipment based at our customer sites.
• Building strong relationships with Getinge Customers through effective customer service and interpersonal skills;
• Supporting installations of Getinge capital equipment.
• Regular travel is a requirement of this role

Essential skills and experience required:  

• A current A grade Electrical licence (Mandatory)
• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician, ideally in the MedTech sector
• A proven track record of going above and beyond for others;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation
• Are able to work under pressure to tight deadlines;
• Excellent communication skills; an ability to work as part of a team; a mechanical aptitude; and a valid Driver’s Licence.

Desirable background:

Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technician, ideally in the MedTech sector
