Product Specialist- Surgical Workplaces (SWP)

The Surgical Workplaces Team are seeking to recruit a Product Specialist to join their team. The Product Specialist, Surgical Workplaces is a vital contributor to the Getinge ANZ organisation, providing expert product knowledge, technical support, and customer service to both internal and external customers.

The Product Specialist serves as a knowledgeable resource, building strong customer relationships, and supporting the sales team in driving revenue by effectively promoting and positioning Surgical Workplaces products. 

Key overall responsibilities include:

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by addressing enquiries, offering tailored recommendations, and supporting the National Sales Manager and National Clinical Applications & Product Support Specialist in conducting training sessions, troubleshooting, etc.
• Assisting in completing requests for tenders / quotation (RFT / RFQ) primarily for operating theatres along with allied areas, e.g., anaesthetic bays. This involves close collaboration with the Sales and Tenders & Contracts teams, gathering information, analysing customer requirements, and creating competitive tender proposals that align with the organization's goals.
• Collaborate with the design team to create efficient operating theatre designs and generate accurate quotes, contributing to profitable sales growth. 
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements and ensure competitor analysis and competitive selling tools are maintained / up to date.
• Provide valuable insights and technical guidance to customers and internal teams during installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field (eg Nursing, Biomedical Engineering)
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex products and their applications, and communicate clearly and concisely about these
• Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.
