Join our DevOps Chapter team, part of DHS R&D as a DevOps Engineer. We define and implement Cloud architecture as well as develop, operate, and integrate Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) services. The services we deliver enable product development teams at DHS to continuously build their product, test it, and deliver it to the cloud. We have an exciting journey ahead of us.

The Job

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure and deployment pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software applications. You should have a strong background in Azure services, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will be:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.

  • Implement security best practices to protect cloud-based applications and infrastructure for the Getinge DHS product portfolio

  • Collaborating with software development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into the development process.

  • Assisting software development teams with building CI/CD pipelines and automating processes for their products

  • Working closely with product teams to support them in their Cloud Journey

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to Azure cloud services and DevOps practices and evaluate the fit of new technology with the Getinge DHS architecture and infrastructure
     

Who you are?
You are likely already working as a DevOps Engineer for Cloud-based solutions. You value teamwork, are willing to share your thoughts and ideas, and help mentor other developers through code reviews etc.
You strive for high quality and excellence in the software delivery lifecycle and have an urge to continuously improve our processes and ways of working. 
On top of this you have a sincere interest in IT technology - you follow technology trends, try them out, and have a genuine interest in and a deep understanding of systems and how to connect all the dots.
 

Your Experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar

  • Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub actions)

  • Infrastructure-as-Code

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

  • Source control tools ex. Git 

  • Scripting (Azure CLI, PowerShell)

  • Certifications like MS Azure Solutions Architect Expert or MS DevOps Engineer Expert is a plus

  • Previous software development experience is a plus
