The position
We are in search of an experienced Financial Controller within Digital Health Solutions (DHS) who will join our Finance team in Copenhagen consisting of 2 Financial Controllers and 1 Business Controller.
With reference to Senior Finance Director of DHS you will, together with the other Financial Controller, be responsible for DHS legal entities ensuring compliance with local and Group rules & regulations, perform financial controlling, forecasting, analysis and reporting internally and externally. You will also manage/oversee accounting and compliance tasks performed by Shared Service Center (SSC) and act as financial partner to Senior Finance Director of DHS.
About you
We are looking for a motivated, positive and results orientated Financial Controller with good collaboration skills and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, reporting, financial controlling, annual report process and compliance.
To be successful in this role, it requires large ability to collaborate with many stakeholders with focus on delivering quality, reliability in data, meeting deadlines while being a team player and open to new tasks/projects across functions and skill requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responsibility for legal entity forecast/budget, P&L and balance sheet ensuring a robust Finance support regarding reporting, costing and Working capital and take an active role in improving processes, IT tools etc. to “work smarter”.
- Participation in and leadership of various finance projects in DHS/SW/Getinge.
- Financial Controlling of legal entities:
- Financial controlling of deviations in both actuals and forecast.
- R&D Controlling and consistency with global requirements and policies
- Ensure that all bookings are done correct by SSC, month-end regulations, accruals, and ad hoc IC invoices.
- Ad hoc analysis in Excel, Cognos/PowerBI.
- Responsible for Internal, External reporting, filling, and Compliance:
- Monthly reporting in Cognos, legal entity forecasting and documentation of internal controls.
- Lead on annual closing and contact to auditors for the legal entity.
- Ensure compliance of internal control, treasury, statutory, tax with group, TP documentation and legal requirements.
- Maintain and follow up on CoA, cost centers in local ERP, user access/rights, update checklists and procedures.
Your experience:
- Relevant degree in finance (minimum B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting).
- Minimum 5 years working experience within financial controlling and knowledge about accounting rules, VAT, Tax, bookkeeping, TP documentation.
- Skilled in full P&L work and analyzing and breaking down results.
- Highly skilled in Excel and skilled in ERP systems and reporting tools
- High attention to detail and deadlines.
- Experienced working with Excel and different tools to manage financial data and create reports.
- Experience from a global international environment and to work in a matrix organization.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
