About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Team Lead to help us deliver our Azure-based cloud solutions fast and efficiently.

 

As Senior DevOps Team Lead you will manage a small team of experts who is responsible for enabling our software development teams with knowledge, best practices, and support within the field of Cloud, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. In addition to leading the team, you will work with hands-on development to keep your technical competencies up to date and contribute with your expertise to our DevOps journey.

 

You will play an essential role in defining and implementing cloud and pipeline architecture, enabling product development teams to manage their build and deploy systems efficiently. In addition, this role will focus on our Azure-based cloud solutions ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of our infrastructure.

 

The role is based at our modern facilities in the city centre of Copenhagen. For our office-based employees our “Smart workplaces” concept offer you the opportunity to work remotely a couple of days a week, providing you with both flexibility and a modern adaptable approach to work-life balance.

 

What you will do:  

  • Team Leadership: Foster and build a high-performing team. Provide mentorship, guidance, and leadership to your team members
  • Hands-on development: As a “playing coach” you will work together with your team to deliver projects
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure, ensuring it aligns with best practices
  • Security Expertise: Implement security best practices to safeguard cloud-based applications
  • CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD practices into the development process, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery
  • Cloud Journey Support: Work closely with product teams to provide guidance and support their cloud adoption journey.
  • Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to Azure cloud services and DevOps practices. You possess a deep understanding of systems and how to connect the dots to create efficient solutions

 

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar
  • Preferably you have previous experience in a team lead role
  • Proven work experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on Azure-based cloud solutions
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub actions)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
  • Container technology and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS)
  • Source control tools (Git)
  • Scripting (Azure CLI, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of .NET and C#
  • Fluency in English is required, Danish is an advantage
