As a Technical Writer in Sterile Supply Management (SSM), you'll write and release all aspects of decided documentation packages for the Getinge Online solution. We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer who holds the responsibility of maintaining and supporting the alignment of the technical writers' process and tooling in a product-wide professional team.

Technical Writer in Copenhagen

Your commitment will involve managing all aspects of documentation packages to ensure timely delivery as per agreed plans. In addition to estimating tasks, you will ensure project delivery plans include tasks related to updating documentation packages as part of the project delivery plan. Further, you will ensure that stakeholders have clarity on how to collaborate on documentation packages by defining a process description for the documentation area. Identify potential areas of improvement and decide with the development manager how and when to implement them.

Your responsibilities:

• Define and create documentation based on requirements and implementation
• Plan for the delivery of documentation materials and establish a documentation process aligned with the department's other operations 
• Mentor team colleagues on how they need to contribute to the delivery of documentation materials
• Identify, resolve, or escalate operational problems to avoid and minimize delays
• Ensure/lead the transfer of knowledge for the benefit of users and customers
• Promote cross-team alignment and understanding regarding documentation
• Take responsibility for stakeholder management on relevant tasks
• One should possess the ability to use technology to create technical communication documents in various media, as well as write, edit, and test them.
• The ability to collaborate with business development, product line management, and customer-facing departments such as sales and customer support services.

 Your Profile:

• A relevant degree in Technical Editor/Communication
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in technical writing
• Experience using authoring systems preferred, MadCap Flare or Document360
• Experience with Photoshop, Adobe Suite, or similar tools would be a benefit
• Team player with communication abilities
• Proactive with a creative mindset, target-oriented, and structured 
• Excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written
