Commercial Anaylst - UK and Ireland (Remote)

 

In this newly created role you will utilise advanced analytical skills to develop tangible business intelligence that result in actionable insights to drive sales, service excellence and profitability performance. Implement, develop and support business tools, templates and solutions that enable the sales and service organisation to deliver an optimal sales and service strategy.

 

Day to day responsibilities will include:

 

 

  • Contribute to the development and execution of annual and quarterly Sales & Service objectives, key results and activities that underpin the Sales & Service Growth strategy.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide sales leaders with insights for decision making and business improvement; conduct a needs analysis to understand commercial data requirements across the sales organization and update these as required at least annually
  • Observe and anticipate business intelligence needs and opportunities and proactively discuss these with the Service Director, Sales Director and sales leaders.
  • Oversee and manage all monthly and quarterly price / volume analysis and identifying opportunities to drive price increase and/or increase value for the customer.
  • Work with Sales Leaders to analyse pricing results and support sales leaders in defining pricing strategies for all product areas
  • Develop business case templates as required for new business opportunities, new go to market models and general deal analysis as required.
  • Translate feedback, observations and insights to develop and refine the various sales enablement systems (Gforce, Sales Toolkits, Power BI, etc.) where possible to facilitate improved sales effectiveness.
  • Work with customer service to analyse customer data and KPIs from Sales Force and all customer related systems to drive improvements in customer experience
  • Ensure that all aspects of the role are in compliance with company policy and procedures and the requirements of ISO9001.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted in a manner compliant with the WHSE Management Plan, company environment, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and all relevant UKI legislation.

Knowledge/Experience:

 

  • Extensive experience in, and exposure to, sales and marketing operations.
  • Experience in scoping and solving business problems.
  • Experience in creating financial, pricing and market analysis reports, data dashboards and pricing analysis 
  • Experience working closely with stakeholders and influecing key members of the SLT
  • Experience monitoring, reviewing and completing activities according to previously defined priorities.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  • Experience in a healthcare or medical device business is highly desired but not essential 

 

Skills:

  • Root cause analysis and data analysis.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Commercial awareness, demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Windows operating system and MS Office applications.
  • Advanced experience with Excel, Power BI and Salesforce 
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Confident presenting to stakeholders and SLT

Other

  • UK Requirements: Eligibility to work in the UK (essential).
  • Driving License: Required to hold a valid UK driver’s license.
  • Travel: Ability to travel within the UK and abroad with overnight stays as and when required.
