We are looking for a National Sales Manager - Service contracts Sales, UKI, to lead and oversee Getinge´s Service Contracts Sales Strategy across the UK & Ireland Region, for Healthcare and Life Science. You will collaborate with capital and consumable sales teams and the tender’s team to ensure the Service business is appropriately represented in all commercial discussions. Reporting to the Business Unit Head – Operating Theatre Solutions & Service Contracts Sales, you will manage a high-performing Service Contracts Sales team, providing strong mentorship, coaching and guidance.
Main responsibilities will include:
Sales Strategy & Planning;
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve Getinge UK & Ireland’s Service Contracts Sales ambitions and revenue / profitability targets.
- Accurately forecast source of business and establish strategies to increase uptake and market share; Service Contracts Renewals, Out Of Warranties (OOW) and Point of Sale (POS)
Team Leadership & Management;
- Manage, coach and motivate Service Contracts Sales Managers, providing guidance, and day to day support to achieve success.
- Conduct regular field visits to manage and support customer accounts, as well as assess and review performance of Service Contract Sales Managers
- Conduct annual appraisals of Service Contracts Sales Managers, in addition to frequent objectives reviews throughout the year
Sales Process Improvement;
- Identify areas for improvement in the Service Contracts Sales process, implementing change to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and manage salesforce effectiveness through key performance indicators, ensuring key metrics are achieved to support sales growth
- Ensure all tender documentation is submitted on time and pricing strategy is discussed with the relevant managers to ensure a coordinated approach between Sales & Service
Reporting & Analysis;
- Track and analyse sales performance, identify trends, and provide regular updates to BUH – OTS & SCS and Service Director – UKI
- Analyse Market Trends / Competitor Activities to formulate strategies and response
Training & Development;
- Provide ongoing training and sales coaching to the Service Contracts Sales Managers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to succeed.
