Senior HR Business Partner
We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner who will be responsible for delivering practical and hands-on HR support to business leaders and employees across the full range of HR activities, keeping multiple HR priorities and projects moving forward.
This role focuses on managing day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and driving key HR processes that enhance workforce engagement, performance, and compliance. The role balances supporting the HR Director and ensuring that day-to-day HR functions run smoothly while responding quickly to business needs by completing operational and administrative HR tasks.

Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Provide hands-on support to managers and employees on HR policies, HR procedures, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Implement HR initiatives that drive employee engagement, retention, and development.
- Lead HR operational activities, including performance management, absence management, and employee relations casework.
- Work closely with managers to ensure compliance with employment laws, industry regulations, and HR best practices.
- Drive and facilitate training sessions and workshops on HR-related topics such as performance feedback, leadership skills, and company policies.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition team to ensure smooth recruitment, onboarding, and induction of employees.
- Support the resolution of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Analyse HR data and trends to proactively address workforce issues and improve HR service delivery.
- Manage and execute HR projects such as compensation reviews, benefits enhancements, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Deputise for the HR Director as required, taking ownership of key HR functions and ensuring continuity in HR service delivery.
- Be an active participant in HR operations, supporting the team with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.

Your experience includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline would be desirable
- CIPD qualification at level 5 or above is essential.
- Extensive experience in a hands-on HR Business Partner role, preferably within a fast paced complex environment.
- Strong working knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to support managers with day-to-day HR operations and workforce management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees across all levels.
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

To help meet our goals of becoming CO2 neutral by 2025, we travel only if we must. In this role, you will
predominantly working from home but required to travel to company or customer premises or similar throughout the UK and ROI when necessary to carry out role.
