Strategic Solutions Manager
We are looking for a Strategic Solutions Manager to own and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the UK region. To support Getinge’s goal of becoming the partner of choice, the Strategic Solutions Manager will focus on identifying and demonstrating the tangible outcomes of our solutions and products.
This role will play a key part in developing value-based procurement case studies, initiating and delivering pilot programs with key customers, and enhancing external market awareness of Getinge’s strategic value proposition.
Aligned with Getinge’s Hospital Transformation Partnerships, this role will build on previous global successes to generate evidence-based outcomes using Getinge solutions.
You will have the opportunity to make an impact as part of your role within the extended commercial strategy / healthcare team by maintaining full involvement and serve as primary contact throughout project lifecycles.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Duties & responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Identify and develop outcome-driven projects that showcase the value of Getinge products, including operational, economic, sustainability, and clinical benefits.
- Establish and maintain senior-level (C-suite) relationships within strategic projects, collaborating with external customer teams to uncover new business opportunities.
- Develop pilot case studies with customers to demonstrate efficiency and productivity gains, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, clinical improvements, and operational outcomes linked to Getinge solutions.
- Drive Hospital Transformation Partnership (HTP) projects, including assessments, implementations, and commercial partnership support.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs), Business Unit Leads, and Sales Managers to identify key product areas requiring outcome evidence to support FY25 and future sales targets.
- Engage with Value-Based Procurement (VBP) stakeholders across NHSSC, HSE, HTA, HTI, NICE, and procurement networks to develop pilot projects and strategic initiatives.
- Lead pilot programs and strategic projects that deliver tangible commercial outcomes through a VBP approach.
- Translate Getinge’s value proposition into clear, outcome-focused messaging to enhance market understanding.
- Promote Getinge’s strategic solutions approach through omnichannel marketing (e.g., LinkedIn).
- Support the development of HTP white papers focused on Value-Based Procurement
- Assist in crafting proposals for HTP offerings, including Managed Equipment Services (MES) and partnership models.
- Lead customer meetings (both virtual and in-person) to establish reference sites and case studies.
- Collaborate with UKI Business Unit Leads, Sales Managers, and the Pricing Strategy Team to develop internal Value-Based initiatives, including:
- Value-Based Selling
- Value-Based Pricing
- Value-Based Procurement strategies
Quality System Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring that he/she follows Company procedures (includes quality and health & safety).
Work alongside the Getinge UK and Ireland Quality Regulation and Compliance team to ensure Getinge are updated with local regulation requirements for products, solutions and the wider organisation.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
- Experience in Healthcare Industry is essential.
- Degree or high level qualification required
- Consultant approach to solution development
- Experience with engaging at senior level throughout NHS, HSE, PHGs and FM organisations
- Expert knowledge of the Procurement and framework prover landscape throughout UK & Ireland
- Strong knowledge of Value Based Procurement approach
- Demonstrate past experience working in a multi-matrix organisation
- Excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to lead cross-functional/divisional teams
- Demonstrates insight and consultative selling approach
- Strong communication skills and effective writing/bid text authoring skills.
- Microsoft Excel and managing large volumes of data.
