Warehouse Operative - Derby


We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to contribute towards Quadralene’s strategic vision, working as part of our Warehouse team at our new UK Headquarters and Centre of Excellence for Chemistry in Derby.

You will have the opportunity to make a difference by ensuring the timely shipping of orders to our UK customers, working collaboratively with colleagues, to share, build together and meet our goals.  

As the Warehouse Operative you will act as a vital part of the UK supply chain, with responsibility for the locating, picking and packing of orders according to customer specifications and assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock. This role is day-shift only. 


Day to day responsibilities will include: 

 

•    Completing shipments by processing and picking orders.
•    Enforcing inventory control by picking allocated lot numbers.
•    Preserving safe and clean work environment by keeping work areas up to the standards expected in a Medical Device manufacturer environment. 

•    Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or using a forklift truck.
•    Following procedures for Goods in stock.
•    Operating a reach truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and in correct locations.
•    Maintaining accurate records both paper based and IT based.
•    Complying with all health and safety requirements.
•    Booking collections with external carriers.
•    Carrying out stock and cycle counts.
•    Using SAP for stock checks and other logistic functions.

Your experience includes:  

•   Previous warehouse experience preferred
•   Counter Balance and Reach truck qualification essential 

•   Pick and pack experience
