Manufacturing Technician

2:30pm to 11:00pm

Looking for someone to Inspect, assemble, and package products in our manufacturing department.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

• Inspect products.
• Clip products.
• Pouch product.
• Assemble/open pouches.
• Seal pouches using a heat sealer for all products.
• Print on product pouches.
• Assemble and fill product boxes.
• Visually inspect products as they are being packaged.
• Box labels need to be printed and properly labeled.
• Operate QuickPouch machines one and two.
• Operate clipping machine.
• Fill out logs for the room.
• Place vials in a scale to dispense the soil.
• Assemble and label a finished product from each lot for a quality sample inspection.
• Follow non-conforming material process.
• Retrieve materials for packaging from the warehouse and store finished products in warehouse.
• Follow all applicable policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• All other duties as deemed necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Skill and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to perform small repetitive hand movements.
• Tasks must be completed in an efficient and time sensitive manner
• Basic math skills
• Equipment used: Humidifiers, Heat Sealers, Quickpouch Machines, Clipping Machine, Labeling Ink Jet Printer, Label Printer on computer, scales, Computer, Glass Trays, and Bins.
• Able to bend, stoop, and lift overhead.
• Available to work overtime or weekends if necessary.
• Able to perform repetitive duties.
• Able to maneuver carts.
• Able to lift 25lbs unassisted.
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
