We are now looking for our new Head of Group Business Control (m/f/d). In this position, you will be overall responsible for the Business Control for the Getinge Group, reporting directly to the Vice President Corporate Control.

 

The position is ideally based at our headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Other locations within Europe can also be considered.

 

Main responsibilities include:

  • Overall Business Controlling of Getinge’s performance across all Business Areas, Global Sales & Group Functions.
  • Being the business partner in business controlling matters to Getinge’s CEO and CFO, delivering insights, analytics and recommendations on the Group’s financial performance.
  • Lead the Group Business Control team, which currently has team members in Sweden & Germany.
  • Lead the group wide processes around financial reviews, rolling forecasts and financial planning.
  • Manage Getinge Investment frame and the delegated Investment frames to Business Areas and Global Sales.
  • Work in close relationship with the Business Areas CFOs, Global Sales CFO, Group Chief Accountant, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of the business control area on Group level, via the Getinge Business Control Network and Community amongst others.
  • Develop and improve the Group processes and tools supporting financial reviews, rolling forecasts, financial planning and other financial analytics.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:                                                                 

  • ~10 years of relevant Finance & Business controlling experience, ideally gained in a globally operating, complex business environment.
  • Experience from Corporate Business Control is a merit.
  • Academic degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills; additional language skills are considered an asset.  
  • Outstanding collaboration skills, with proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders across different departments to accomplish shared goals.
  • Excellent ability to communicate, present and visualize.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and inspire others to perform.
  • Ability to develop the right relationships to facilitate change.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
