We are now recruiting a Group Business Controller to Getinge´s headoffice in Gothenburg!
 

Group Business control is the owner of the Group Controlling model & tools, Group common controlling processes, the Rolling Forecast Process as well as the Group Financial Plan process. We develop information structures to support decentralized decision making, but also analyze and explain Group financial performance to act as a neutral and fact-based speaking partner to management.

 

The purpose of the Group Business Controller is to secure a high quality and efficient business control for the Getinge Group in terms of ensuring insightful analysis to the Group CFO, the Executive team as well as the Board. The role ensures that processes are followed and adhered to, challenges the business through assessing opportunities and risks, analysis of deviations in the monthly closing and forecasting process, coordination of the Group forecasting process, ad-hoc analysis, participation in projects and preparation of presentation material to management and the board. The role is the link between Group headquarters and the Business Areas as well as the functional finance organizations which includes close interaction with different people within the organization. Outside of the monthly closing periods the role also provide business control support to the Business Areas and/or Global Sales in different projects or other financial support as needed.

 

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of full Group performance including challenging the business organization on opportunities and risks
  • Analysis of rolling forecast development including challenging the business organization on opportunities and risks
  • Ensure a full Group forecast that covers full P&L and working capital
  • Presentation material to the Executive management and the Board
  • Provide business control support to the Business Areas and/or Global Sales in different projects and/or other financial support as needed
  • Part of developing efficient global and standardized finance processes
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Engagement in other ad hoc projects as needed

 

Required experience, knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering or similar
  • 5-10 years’ experience in business controlling & finance, preferably within an international company are seen as an advantage
  • Experience from Cognos Controller and Microsoft BI and/or other Group consolidation applications are a merit
  • Strong Business Acumen
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle large amounts of data
  • Ability to communicate financial conclusions and recommendations to people at all levels in the organization
  • Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written. Other languages are a merit
