Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated team member for the position of Purchasing Coordinator for our Istanbul office who will be responsible for meeting the office needs in a timely and cost-effective manner. This is a hybrid position. The Purchasing Coordinator will report directly to the Finance Director.
- Graduates of universities in Economics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering,
- At least 5+ years of experience in procurement and financial processes, preferably in IT procurement experience,
- Proficient in MS Office programs,
- Fluent in English,
- Preferably knows how to use Ariba program
- A team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills,
- Candidates with strong planning and organizational skills.
- High business ethics, prioritizing company interests and adhering to reliable working principles
Job Description
- Analyze purchasing requests manage the processes, ensure that open orders are delivered on time and correctly,
- Prepare, track, and finalize the necessary documentation for purchases,
- Ensure supplier diversity and research prices for each material and service, Research alternative suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations
- Prepare periodic reports on procurement details and budgets,
- Enter all activities into the system, ensuring that they are documented according to the company’s quality procedures and processes,
- Develop and manage a supplier portfolio,
- Oversee the purchase of office-related supplies (kitchen and bathroom essentials, furniture, printers, etc.)
- Handle procurement of employee benefits (i.e. meal card, health insurance, etc)
- Plan and manage procurement, leasing, maintenance, insurance, and other operational needs of the company's vehicle fleet
- Ensure regular tracking of processes related to the vehicle fleet, office rentals, and office supplies,
- Coordinate with the accounting department to manage invoicing and payment processes for procurement transactions
- Taking part in global projects related to purchasing processes,
- Conducting transparent and accountable purchasing processes in line with company policies and ethical rules
