The Intern, Life Science will support the Life Science technical operations team with an analysis of cost on products sent to the Lake Mary facility before shipment to customers instead of shipment directly from the factory. In addition, support process documentation with Project Nova.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learn the basics of Life Sciences including the mechanical operations of washers and sterilizers.
- Provide support to the technical operations team with incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Support process documentation for process improvements with Project Nova.
- Work with the technical operations team to conduct an analysis of cost on products sent to the Lake Mary facility before shipment to customers instead of shipment directly from the factory.
- Complete reporting and track costs on the incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Present recommendations on the projects assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- A student attending a 4-year undergraduate program (preferably a junior or senior), or working towards a Master's degree in a related life sciences field, engineering, or business degree.
- Prefer a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Previous employment and/or internships preferred.
