Job Overview
The HR Generalist relates to a Getinge’s human resources department. Reporting directly to the HR Sr.Manager, is responsible for providing concrete and proactive support to the management, managers and colleagues on human resources procedures, personnel policies, best practices, administration, payroll and recruitment to facilitate and guarantee the achievement of the organization's objectives accordingly to HR Sr. Manager indication.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
A list of the main responsibilities and percentage of time spent in each responsibility or group of responsibilities:
Administration Activities (35%)
- Guarantee the proper time attendance management
- Verify correct payroll processing (outsourced) management for employees
- Ensure with HR Sr. Manager the administrative application of law, contract and collective agreements.
- Prepare and manage the documentation relating to the employment and agents and distributors relationship (hiring, transformation, termination) guaranteeing the collections and filing of relevant documentation
- Ensure that mandatory communications with external administrative bodies are performed also with the support of external payroll consultant
- Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
- Create regular reports, presentations on HR metrics and propose improvement actions/strategies
- Monitoring data on HR absenteeism, disability communication and follow up as needed
- Ensure that internal HR databases (Success Factor, Zucchetti) are correctly and regularly updated
- Verify the constant eligibility to work of workforce by cooperating with the appointed RSPP and internal ASPP
- Ensure that car fleet administration is performed also cooperating with the provider and Finance department
- Support HR Sr. Manager on other agents issues
- Recruiting activities (20%)
- Ensure an effective support in recruitments including sourcing, assessment, pre-selection, advising managers on final selection and integration of new joiners
- Perform, when delegated from HR Sr. Manager, autonomous research for low-grade profile.
- Helps on building cross-functional partnerships with University and High School
- Work with HR Sr Manager on maintaining and updating current job descriptions
- Support the recruitment process including scheduling and coordinating interviews, making travel arrangements for candidates and entering background checks
- People Support (15%)
- Work on individual employee life cycle cases while ensuring internal equity and fairness of treatment of people across functions and following the global processes
- Support employees on solve personnel administration issues being the HR contact for personnel administrative claims. Including: Leave of absence, benefits, Workday, work permits, all things admin
- In alignment with HRSM support logistics around all stages of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding employees and serve as a point-of-contact for employee questions.
- Cooperate with HRSM in order to guarantee Getinge’s culture is assimilated through the entire employee lifecycle
- Processes and procedures management (25%)
- In cooperation with HR Sr. Manager understand the business to take on an advisory role with impact (manpower planning, development of strategic skills) in close collaboration with line management and support them in their role as people manager
- Support on Talent process follow up actions
- Work with HRSM to perform training delivery (scheduling, planning) and to collect relevant documentation for any reimbursement by funds
- Guarantee a dynamic support in producing contents, planning and coordinating the Induction program of new joiners of both office and home based employees
- Support the finalization of the annual performance management process
- Support HRSM on consolidation, presentation and reporting integrated to the HR Processes
- Support on actions related to organization and change management processes
- Effective support on HR policies and strategies implementation to drive development, employee engagement, culture, diversity and inclusion programs
- Support specific global projects and processes dedicated to the Italian site
- Contributes to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as necessary
- Employer relations activities (5%)
- Support the HR Sr. Manager about the legal compliances and management of disciplinary issues within the business including investigations, appeals, disciplinary processes and dispute resolution to ensure legal risks are fully considered and to ensure consistent advice is given to the business
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in HR, Economics, Law, Political Science or equivalent
- 3 years’ experience in similar roles
