Senior Project Manager – Operating Room / Medical Devices (M/F/D)
Permanent contract – Italy | Home-based – Milan area | Nationwide scope
Getinge Italia is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within hospital and surgical environments.
Within our Surgical Workplace business, you will manage projects involving capital medical equipment such as operating tables, surgical lights and associated OR solutions.
Acting as a key interface between customers, Sales, technical teams, Field Project Engineers, suppliers and subcontractors, you will ensure successful project execution from customer requirements and feasibility assessment through installation and final implementation.
Your responsibilities

Manage healthcare technical projects end-to-end, from feasibility and planning through installation and customer handover.

Assess technical and economic feasibility of customer requirements.

Define project priorities, schedules and implementation plans.

Coordinate internal technical teams, Field Project Engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.

Ensure projects meet agreed technical requirements, quality standards and timelines.

Act as a key interface with hospital customers throughout project execution.

Coordinate equipment configuration, site-access documentation and installation activities.

Monitor project timelines, risks, priorities and performance.

Coordinate Project Specialists / Project Managers and Field Project Engineers.

Manage and evaluate external partners to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction.

Lead strategic and complex projects.
Your profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Technologies or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience within Healthcare, Hospitals or Medical Devices.

Proven experience managing technical projects in hospital environments is essential.

Experience with operating rooms, surgical environments, medical equipment or hospital installations is a strong advantage.

Proven ability to manage projects end-to-end and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Experience working with customers, technical teams, suppliers and subcontractors.

Strong project planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Fluent Italian and professional English.

Availability to travel extensively throughout Italy.
Please note: previous Project Management experience within Healthcare, Hospitals or Medical Devices is required. Profiles with Project Management experience exclusively in IT or unrelated industries will not be considered for this position.
Scope & conditions
Product scope: Surgical Workplace – operating tables, surgical lights and associated solutions.
Territory: Nationwide – Italy.
Location: Home-based, expected residence in the Milan area.
Travel: approximately 60% of working time.
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Package: €55,000–€65,000 gross annual salary + company car, also for private use
