Job Overview Legal, Compliance and Governance, is a newly established department in Getinge, and is comprised of the following functions: Ethics & Compliance, Litigation & IPR, Corporate Legal, Regulatory Counsel, Digitalization and Privacy Counsel, and Governance, covering the APAC, NAM, LATAM and EMEA regions. LCG has a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in managing legal and conduct risk in how business is done, creating a business environment, which embeds responsibility for business ethics and law into daily operations, ensuring better control and predictability for the business on a global scale, as well as, creating a sustainable and responsible business. LCG also plays a vital role in supporting the business on a global, regional, and local level with contractual arrangements, negotiations, risk evaluation and general day-to-day legal support.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
Providing hands-on compliance advice specific to India and other SAPAC countries (India, Thailand, South Korea, ANZ, SEA) and healthcare specific compliance regulations.
Build and monitor effective compliance program for India and SAPAC countries.
Identifying and advising on compliance, policy and regulatory risks and the legal liabilities associated with the Indian business in general as well in specific transactions.
Support implementation of global policies and directives and global governance structures.
Develop and review company policies as required.
Keeping abreast of legal and compliance issues
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of agreements for compliance risks
Assess company’s operations for compliance risks.
Performing other related duties and special projects as required.
Trainings/Workshops on E&C policies and Programs
Due Diligence/KYC of third parties
Following the processes relating to Health Care compliances
Review and approval on various Compliance topics
Minimum Requirements
At least 7 to 9 years of experience from multinational company within the Life Science/Medical Device/Pharma sector, or other relevant business facing the equivalent commercial and regulatory concerns.
At least 5 years of experience should be from work inhouse and in compliance work in a multinational company.
Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or Compliance Manager.
Experience from working with or in an international operation and foreign owners
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is essential.
Law degree preferred.

Commercial experience and analytical and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams in a matrix reporting structure.
Highly analytical and Strong attention to detail
Solid knowledge of FCPA, UK Bribery Act, local codes, health care compliances and ethics & compliance requirements as well as corporate, corporate governance matters.
Knowledge of global business and international matrix models.
A team player with a proactive and customer-oriented mind set, providing high-quality legal support, often under time pressure.
Must possess good judgment in knowing when and how to escalate issues to the appropriate level and propose solutions.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
Not afraid to speak their mind and stand by their decision.
