To carry out commissioning of equipment to the relevant standards under the terms and conditions of the client’s contract • To cultivate a positive rapport with the customer, demonstrating first class interpersonal skills in a courteous and professional manner at all times • To carry out electrical/mechanical fault finding of equipment. • To carry out calibration of equipment • To produce quality documentation for submission to the customer • To work with team to ensure that any issues which may hinder the successful completion and hand over of equipment are resolved with minimal impact to project timelines. • To ensure the company equipment is being used and looked after correctly and that it is kept in a safe condition. • To ensure that correct returns and non-conformance report procedures are followed. • To organize and prioritize a continuously changing workload, ensuring that all customers’ calls and enquiries are replied to. • To ensure safe and tidy working including use of PPE where required for local site working. • To problem solve, combining initiative with a practical and logical approach to all aspects of the position. • To provide sales leads to Sales Manager. • To read and comply with current relevant legislative documentation and internal Getinge test procedures. • To produce written reports, as and when required/requested. • To submit accurately completed expense claim forms, with supportive documentation on time. • To organize own overnight accommodation as and when required customer and the internal service team on service call progress. • Contact customers for AMC and spares quotes. • To observe the company rules for employees • To observe the company policy on Health & Safety at Work • To record all information in line with Quality Assurance documentation • To observe the company policy and procedures on Quality Management systems. • To observe the customers Health and Safety requirements and work accordingly • To ensure that you and other members of staff adhere to health and safety procedures and work safely and competently.
