We are now recruiting an SAP Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) (remote work based in Europe) as part of Group IT with focus on one of the four SAP modules:

• Finance and Controlling (SAP FI/ CO)
• Procurement & Warehousing (SAP MM/ WM / Ariba)
• Sales and Distribution (SAP SD)
• Production and Quality (SAP PP/ QM)

You actively contribute as an expert in one of the above SAP modules and orchestrate the global deployment of IT solutions around your SAP focus area across production plants as well as sales and service units. Proactively taking charge, you lead enhancements to our global SAP template, fostering collaboration with internal or external partners when necessary. As a key driver of change, you will become involved in the transition to SAP S/4.

Your Responsibilities

Depending on your qualification and preferences you will be responsible for the following:

• Consult the business by fully understanding processes, identifying issues, and recommending opportunities for improvement.
• Supports and manages international roll-in and improvement projects for the respective SAP module as well as related requests with prioritization, tracking, and escalation.
• Collaborate and coordinate internal, external, local, and global resources on projects
• Actively participate in all phases of projects: requirement specification, mapping of business processes, design, customization, configuration and testing.
• Cover 3rd level support in the respective SAP module as our internal process specialist.
• Responsible for documentation and knowledge transfer to other parties in all phases of the project

Your profile / Qualifications

• Successfully completed studies in business administration, business informatics or comparable education
• Particularly good understanding of business processes within one of the following areas:
  • Finance and Controlling processes
  • Supply Chain, Purchasing processes, Material Management, Warehouse logistics
  • Sales and Distribution as well as Supply Chain
  • Production Planning and Quality Management (SAP PP/ QM)
• Proven experience (5+ years) as an SAP Consultant with a focus on one of the modules and interfaces to depending modules:
  • SAP FI/ CO; WIP, project tracking, FIS, Blackline
  • SAP MM/ WM, experience with SAP Ariba or comparable P2P spend platform
  • SAP SD
  • SAP PP/ QM
• Interested in innovative technologies
• Proactive and structured way of working, solution orientation as well as a distinctive ability to communicate and work in a team characterize you
• Very good written and spoken English skills for working in international teams
• Willingness to travel (approx. 10 %)
• Programming skills are an advantage
