Job Overview
- Responsible for the planning, management, coordination and financial control of a customer project.
- Coordinates all activities in the country where the equipment is going to be installed and ensures that the project is completed on time, within budget and that the project’s objective is met.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the intefaces between the customer and internal resources.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/ vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that customer projects are delivered on-time, within scope (from order hand over to signed acceptance document) and within budget.
- Ensure resources availability and allocation.
- Organize and participate and in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) with the customer.
- Participate in meetings with the customer at the installation site.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and other related stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Willing to travel whenever the need arises.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Company and/or Manager.
Requirements
- Engineer in Biomedical, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant.
- Minimum 5 years of solid working experience in Project Management and ideally for the medical device industry or for construction companies.
- Willing to travel whenever the need arises.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team player
- Experience with hospital projects/installation is an advantage
