Our product area Critical Care is located at our site in Solna outside Stockholm and in Feldkirchen in Germany. Here we have full cycle development and final assembly of our products within Ventilation, Anesthesia and Advanced Monitoring.  

 

The position 

We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller with the responsibility for Sales and Gross Profit to join our Finance team in Solna, Stockholm.  

You report directly to CFO Critical Care but is also in close cooperation with the Product management organisation as well as Global Sales. The Business Controller plays a key role in steering financial planning, analysis, and business decision-making processes. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, business forecasting, and an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.  

 

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Act as a finance business partner to the Product management organisation. 
  • Create value by providing actionable insights on financials, contribute to decision making and supporting stakeholders in owning and driving financial performance. 
  • Driving the financial planning processes and to actively work with stakeholders to ensure reliable forecasts. 
  • Ensure well prepared and analysed closing material as well as ad-hoc material to management and other stakeholders. 
  • Maintain and develop processes and reports in our systems such as SAP and Power Bi. 
  • Participation in and leadership of various finance projects. 

 

About you  

We are looking for a senior Business Controller who is passionate about your field and able to instil a culture of continuous improvement in the organization and have the ability to act and contribute to the Getinge behaviours: “Team players, Forward thinkers and Game changers”.  

To be successful in this role it is important to be proactive and flexible with focus to deliver high quality results within set deadlines. You have strong communication and analytical skills and can clearly articulate the problem and proposed solutions you have in mind to other stakeholders in the organization.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant degree in business/finance (minimum B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics).  
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in financial analysis, forecasting, controlling, or business finance. 
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to see and understand the big picture. 
  • Highly skilled in using Excel and different software and tools to manage financial data and create reports in Power-BI. 
  • Experience from a global international environment and to work in a matrix organization. 
  • Meriting to have experience from a similar position working with integrated margin including experience from production controlling. 
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
