We are looking for you who want to play a vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in managing risks and shaping the way business is conducted.  We are here to secure a business environment which embed responsibility, personal accountability, integrity, ethics, and compliance into the day-to-day operations.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the implementation and management of Getinge’s Ethics and Compliance Programs across the Nordics, UK & Ireland (UKI), and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE).

 

As a regional Ethics & Compliance (E&C) leader, you will work in alignment with the respective global program owner within the E&C team to implement initiatives covering key areas such as responsible leadership, interactions with healthcare professionals and organizations, anti-bribery and corruption, antitrust/fair competition, data privacy, trade compliance, and human rights.

 

This position places a strong emphasis on healthcare compliance and distributor due diligence within the region.

 

You will provide Ethics & Compliance support to Managing Directors, as well as Sales, Marketing, and other business units, ensuring employees are educated and aligned with the company’s Ethics & Compliance programs, policies, and responsibilities. Close collaboration with the Legal team will be essential.

 

What you will do

  • Developing and delivering relevant and timely Ethics & Compliance training and education to stakeholders, including participation in national and regional sales meetings, conventions, new hire orientations, etc.
  • Understand, implement, and supervise any national transparency reporting requirements for the European countries.   
  • Providing proactive Ethics & Compliance support to the business
  • Advocate responsible leadership within Nordics, UKI and CEE region.
  • Assist the Global Internal Investigations function regarding local matters. 

 

This position is based remotely in any of our locations within the region and includes international/regional travelling.

 

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:

  • Master of Law, LL.M, M.Sc. or other relevant academic degree. Professional certifications in Compliance (such as CCEP, CIA, etc.) is preferred. 
  • Min 5 + years of relevant E&C work experience in a global setting. 
  • Experience from MedTech industry is preferred.  
  • Strong ability to analyze and interpret laws and regulations, and to develop practical solutions to Compliance challenges. 
  • Experience in the relevant regions is preferred.  

 

In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your personality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
