About this opportunity  

Our product area Critical Care is located at our site in Solna outside Stockholm and in Feldkirchen in Germany. Here we have full cycle development and final assembly of our products within Ventilation, Anesthesia and Advanced Monitoring.  

  

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to lead and improve the LEAN manufacturing work at Getinge Critical Care on the site in Solna. You will initiate plans and activities to increase productivity and reduce costs and will serve as a Subject Matter Expert and trainer for the site. You will work closely together with the production managers, team leaders and operators in the production as well as Solna Operations Management team. You will be supported by other LEAN leaders within Getinge hold the role of Champion for Solna within the global team for manufacturing excellence.  You will report to the Senior Director Operations Critical Care.

 

What you will do

  • Champion and driver of the Critical Care Manufacturing Excellence Program.
  • Develop and implement methods for continuous improvements and process optimization in production and in supporting functions.
  • Coach the organization in working with continuous improvements and process optimization.
  • Develop and continuously improve training concepts and material for local use.
  • Continuous follow-up of project plans and budget for assigned projects.
  • Continuously report status, risks, and deviations to project stakeholders, steering groups, and management.
  • Report and follow-up KPI:s related to the Getinge Manufacturing Excellence Program.

 

 

This position is based in Solna and includes international travelling approximately 4-6 times/year.

 

You will bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications.

 

  • Solid experience and knowledge in LEAN manufacturing, End-to-End Process optimization, Continuous improvement work and/or similar areas.
  • Engineering Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in training and coaching of others on different organizational levels.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Previous background and experience in project management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience within the MedTech industry is an advantage.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English. Will write training material, instructions and educate others in both Swedish and English.

 

In addition to your technical skills, we highly value your personality. You need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and communicate with different stakeholders. You are a true teamplayer and problem solver with an eagerness to learn and develop others.
