At Getinge Critical Care we are now looking for our next Manager of Planning and Order Management to further develop our planning and order managment team at our site in Solna. Here is our heart of product development and manufacturing of equipment for Intensive Care Units such as Ventilators and Anesthesia machines. About this opportunity
In this role you will manage/oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the order fulfillment processes. You will lead a team of 10 enthusiastic and established team members involved in the planning and order management of Getinge Critical Care products.
This includes collaboration with various stakeholders, both within our organization and externally. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and engaged leader. As a Manager at Getinge you will oversee daily operations, ensuring your team's success and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. You will report to Jonas Kärvin, Senior Director Operations and be included in the management team Operations Critical Care. What you will do
You will manage the planning and order management team. You will actively work with continuous improvements by collaborating with other functions to improve customer satisfaction. Actively cooperate with functions such as Sourcing, Material Supply, Production, Internal Logistics, IT, Finance and Commercial Operations. You will also ensure, through information and training, that the department's personnel have the right skills and are compliant.
Planning
The main responsibility is to achieve customer satisfaction related to deliveries and to contribute to the fulfilment of corporate requirements for on time delivery by managing, improving, and optimizing the master planning of main units and accessories. The role includes developing and implementing planning strategies to continuously improve delivery performance and our ways of working.
- Manage and mentor/coach a team of planners to achieve performance goals.
- Overall responsible for team maintaining and updating master planning and production planning against global demand plan.
- Lead/sign-off local S&OP process and represent Critical Care in the business S&OP process. Overall responsible for Master Production Schedule. Inform and mitigate potential constraints in the Supply Chain for Critical Care products.
- Monitor KPIs, forecast demand, and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Address and resolve any challenges related to supply chain disruptions or order delays.
- Develop and improve production planning strategies to optimize the flow of our own manufactured products from when a customer order is received until delivery to finished goods warehouse and end user (end-to-end perspective).
Order Management
The main responsibility is to achieve customer satisfaction related to deliveries and to contribute to the fulfillment of corporate requirements for on time delivery and revenue.
- Drive improvements and optimizations in the order management processes and strategic work with the aim of improving customer service level.
- Oversee end-to-end order process, including order entry, tracking, fulfillment, and financial conditions ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Overall responsible for receiving, investigating, and answering customer questions related to orders such as configuration, lead time, delivery date, transport mode, transport tracking, and transport claims.
- Proactively communicate order status against delivery plans and business goals/targets.
- Collaborate with third party logistic service provider and outbound processes.
This position is based in Solna and includes limited travel. The position requires you to be on-site at least 3 days per week or when meetings/activities dictate on-site presence.
You will bring
To be successful in this position, we believe that you have the following qualifications:
- Strong leadership skills with a coaching/mentor and inspiring mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or strong track record within the related field.
- Proven experience in planning, logistics, or order management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
