Join Getinge Group as Project Manager in our Acute Care Therapies (ACT) unit! You will be a pivotal player in our R&D team, working closely with various functions throughout the organization. This position offers the exciting chance to engage in every phase of the product development cycle—from initial concepts to final production. 

 

About this opportunity 

As Project Manager, you will: 

 

  • Lead complex projects across software, electronics, mechanics, and industrialization with a strong focus on agile methodologies. 

  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. 

  • Collaborate with the steering group and management team of Getinge Critical Care, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout all project stages.  

  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. 

  • Take part in our agile transformation; implementing and refining agile practices to enhance flexibility and responsiveness within R&D. 

  • Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets, ensuring that the teams work towards common goals and milestones. 

  • Work closely within the project management office to adapt and improve project management methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. 

 

This position is located at our site in Solna and offers a hybrid setup where you can work remotely 1-2 days a week. International travel might be required. You will report to the Director of Project management. 

 

You will bring 

To excel in this role, we believe that you have: 

 

  • A degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. 

  • Several years of experience as Project Manager within an R&D function. 

  • Demonstrated strong ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to find effective solutions and new ways of working. 

  • Proven track record in supporting organizational growth and development through strategic leadership, effective decision-making, and proactive problem-solving. 

  • Proficiency in agile project management tools and methodology 

  • Strong technical expertise in developing complex systems within mechanics, electronics, software, or industrialization, particularly in an agile setting. 

  • Proven leadership capability in project management and track record of successfully managing several projects from concept to commercialization. 

  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish is preferred. 

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical technology industry is highly advantageous.
