Join Getinge and strengthen our product area Critical Care in Solna as a Software Developer. We are now strengthening our GUI development team to speed up the software development. You will, together with the team, be responsible for and own the whole product development cycle. The work consists of new development, from concepts and requirements to final product. The team is also responsible for maintenance of our existing products within anesthesia.  

 

As a Software Developer at Getinge, you will develop the software interface the healthcare professionals use to control the device and monitor the patient. Together with colleagues you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges and collaborate with highly skilled people to find innovative solutions. Through this you will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia. 

 

Position Overview

Your primary responsibility as a Software Developer is the development of graphical user interface in C++ and QT/QML, as well as TCP/IP communication using Protobuf. At Getinge we follow the standards IEC62304 – Medical device software and IEC81001-5-1 Health software and health IT systems safety, effectiveness and security in our development processes. Git is used as version control tool and Jenkins for continuous integration. 

 

Who are you 

 To be successful in this role you probably have the following qualities: 

 

  • Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Several years' experience of development in C++ and working with QT as a framework. 
  • Experience of TCP/IP communication through Protobuf. 
  • Enjoys working with frontend development and graphical components. 
  • Familiarity with product development in the medical technology field is desirable. 
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
