Join Getinge and strengthen our Product Area of Critical Care in Solna as a System Verification Engineer. At Getinge in Solna we have the full cycle development and manufacturing of products for Intensive Care Units within Anesthesia and Ventilation. We invite you to be a part of our exceptional team of test and verification engineers within our R&D organisation.
As a verification engineer at Getinge, you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges, collaborating with highly skilled colleagues to find innovative solutions. You will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care.
Position Overview
Your primary responsibility will be to analyze requirements, design test specifications and run tests to ensure the quality of the embedded systems of our products. You will write automated test scripts and take part in developing test tools, validating and ensuring that there is traceability. You will also run exploratory tests on our system. In this role, you will get an excellent overview of how all parts and systems in the machines work connected with knowledge of how the products are used, which gives us a great opportunity to support the rest of the department with development work and problem-solving.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience within test and verification
- Perform exploratory testing to challenge the product and find defects.
- Comfortable making critical technical decisions, thriving in high-expectation environments.
- Having knowledge of Linux
- C++/Python/Squinch knowledge
- An interest in CI/CD
- Interest in advanced healthcare and our products in intensive care and anesthesiology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a testing environment with embedded systems.
- Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams.
- Thrive on working with safety-critical systems in advanced healthcare, where functionality and reliability are vital.
- Proactive in learning and contributing to the testing environment and continued development of our products, staying ahead of fierce global competition.
- Excellent command of English and Swedish both written and spoken.
