The Talis Project Manager - Master Scheduler works to ensure our customers’ technical and clinical needs are met. Assist the Implementation Manager on a successful implementation journey for the client, and work with System Health to support ongoing updates and upgrades.

 

The primary responsibility is to Oversee, and Coordinate Talis Implementations/Upgrades by:

  • Manage and coordinate multiple project/upgrade schedules/timelines to ensure they are completed on time.
  • Organize and plan project/upgrade tasks and schedules based on the master schedule.
  • Communicate project/upgrade status to internal/external/client stakeholders and key project participants.
  • Create communications/reporting to provide forecasting, trending to balance production schedules.
  • Identify and monitor project needs, blockers and forecasts, such as resources, or staff by reviewing project objectives and schedules.
  • Ensure all teams receive communications, in advance to accomplish on-time goals
  • Communicate project/upgrade scope creep issues to department leadership to address, adjust and prioritize.
  • Engage with leadership to optimize project deliverables, schedule and task alignments.
  • Identify, review or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
  • Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials.
  • Ensure collaboration across all teams/departments for communications and reports to be able to communicate project/upgrade status
  • Ensure collaboration with product and development teams on release, product lifecycles, associated features/patches/bug
  • Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or project personnel.
  • Ensure the Implementation and Support teams on track for meeting deliverable milestones.

 

Required Skills

 

  • Minimum 2 years' experience required.
  • Technical knowledge within the Healthcare Industry, to include EHR/EMR, Interfaces, Hardware/Software, integrations/interoperability
  • Demonstrable problem-solving project management experience and skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software required. Experience with Project, Smartsheet, Team foundation Server preferred.
  • Experience with cloud-based hosting platforms and version control tools
  • Experience with working with product and development teams to understand product lifecycle, agile approach and managing timelines
  • Ability to travel, if need be
  • Prior experience in Healthcare, Project Coordinating, Task alignment and external team engagement
  • Be able to manage multiple resources downstream from a functional perspective and understanding to support collaboration
  • Prior Experience in supporting multiple clients to internal teams to manage scheduling, tasking assignment and reporting
