Responsibilities:

  • Development of high-quality database solutions
  • Collaborate with system architects, software architects, design analysts, and others to understand business or industry requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures, views, and UDFs using T-SQL with all the necessary error handling
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Suggest new querries
  • Performance tuning
  • Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Preferred Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in the full life cycle of designing and developing databases and applications using MS SQL Server
  • Writing Transact-SQL Stored Procedures
  • Error handling via TRY/CATCH with event logging
  • Locking/block management
  • Experience in SSIS, SSRS, PowerBI and Service Broker
  • Experience working with clinical data
  • Experience with MS Team Foundation Server is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
