Responsibilities
- Accountable for managing Technical Healthcare Products focused on supporting Clinicians in the High-Acuity areas of the Hospital (Operating Rooms, ICUs, Labor & Delivery Suites).
- Accountable for ensuring their Products and features are:
- Valuable to the Customers, solving real and important problems.
- Viable from the business, compliance, and regulatory perspectives.
- Feasible technically leveraging current technology innovations.
- Usable by the end-users, optimizing for an intuitive user experience.
- Accountable for managing their Products to successfully meet assigned Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
- Deliver value to the customer by translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
- Manage the product backlog, providing Engineering with a prioritized list of epics and stories to deliver desired Product Outcomes.
- Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas. Determine which ideas should be promoted into features to help achieve assigned OKRs.
- Accountable for planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, including:
- gathering and prioritizing product requirements
- defining the product vision and roadmap
- coordinating with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and clinical teams to ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, messaging, and release planning.
- Collaborate with other Getinge Product Teams to drive synergies with Getinge Products.
- Work with cross-functional teams to launch Talis products globally.
- Perform product demos to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Up to 25% domestic and international travel.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree is required.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or relevant experience with Talis products.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Self-motivated problem solver ready to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent teamwork & collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated success defining and launching technical products for the Healthcare IT market.
- An undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred.
- Master of Science in Engineering or Master’s in Business Administration is preferred.
- Experience with Product Globalization is preferred.
- Experience with Medical Device Connectivity and/or Rules Engines is preferred.
