Getinge is now looking for an experienced Project Manager for our Business area Surgical Workflows. We develop washer disinfector products for the healthcare sector aimed for the global market.

The roles responsibilities
As Project Manager your main responsibilities will be to plan and drive product development and product maintenance projects with responsibility for quality, cost & schedule. You will assist in developing a more agile project management process and contribute to process development and continuous improvement.
Your daily contact network will consist of various functions within engineering, quality, purchasing, manufacturing, market, as well as sister companies, external customers, and suppliers.
This position offers the opportunity to engage in every phase of the product development cycle—from initial concepts to final production.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Management of interdisciplinary and cross-departmental project teams; coordination, planning, follow-up and control of tasks within the team.
- Coordination of external development partners.
- Responsibility for scheduling and budget planning as well as project control and regular reporting.
- Plan and perform project meetings.
- Define project risks and evaluate project results.
- Creation, reviewal and approval of applicable project documentation.
- Project presentation to international steering boards.
- Collaboration regarding further development of project management methods in an international setting.
- Support in the definition of processes, work instructions and introduction of project management tools.
- Internal and external Communication.
This position is based in Växjö, and you will report to the Director of R&D Project Management Office.
For this role we offer a hybrid work model where you can work from home 1-2 days a week. This role requires international travelling from time to time. Still, to keep the emissions as low as possible, we always consider our traveling. Getinge has a goal of becoming CO2 neutral by 2025. Estimated travelling <15 days.
Your experience
To succeed in this role you have the following qualifications:
- Successfully completed engineering studies, preferably in the field of medical technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
- Solid experience from product development of mechanical or mechatronic components and/or products.
- Experience in leading projects involving cross-functional global teams.
- Good understanding of development processes and cooperation in a global company including project management methods.
- Fluency in English and Swedish, orally and written.
- Excellent computer skills in MS office. Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
- Certification in project management is an advantage.
- Experience from working in MedTech or similar regulated industry is meritorious.
