You will have the #opportunity build a 360 approach to the customer via the development of global communication initiatives for the Getinge’s Life Sciences US portfolio and Getinge Canada.  Increase lead generation based on Global Sales’ and the Business Area’s input.

Lead the creation, tailoring and execution of corporate and product-level communications based on defined brand identity guidelines, tools and platforms in alignment with the Business Area.  This includes the development of new campaign, innovation, and tradeshow strategic marketing communication plans.

Ensure that the global marketing communication messages are cascaded to their respective area of responsibility (in US English) to the regional marketing communications.

Monitor and control effectiveness and efficiency of marketing communications messages and continuously improve upon their performance. Merchandise learnings and results to leverage and communicate best practices across regions.


Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Proactively support Global Sales teams with Marketing Communications activities to drive sales activities
  • Ownership of the marketing communication launch plan for product launches and product life cycle activities working as a project lead.
  • Create content to drive value-driven, marketing communications based on the product’s or company’s value proposition
  • Discover highly valuable content in close collaboration with the regional Marketing Communications teams and subject matter experts to derive marketing claims, messaging and visualization
  • Within approved activities, use external agencies to develop orchestrated and modular regional content, including resourceful ordering of services (photography, graphic design, copywriting, channel use)
  • Develop, manage, optimize appropriate content for websites, landing pages and social media including contribution to the editorial plan.  Define marketing impact measurements and actual outcome (including contingency planning and metrics)
  • Ensure localization consistency based on red-amber-green (RAG) indicators with a high degree on modularity
  • Define target group, communication objectives and detail target markets by working collaboratively with Global Sales and Business Area
  • Drive content maintenance of existing marketing communication elements according to relevance (Extranet, Showpad, MediaHub, getinge.com, print fulfillment sites)
  • Provide messaging and other inputs for internal and external events in collaboration with the business area – this include live and virtual trade shows, as well as intranet posts in collaboration for corporate communications
  • Budget responsibility for approved marketing activities
  • Manage agencies accordingly on approved projects
  • The role requires international travel (20%)


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s is Degree in marketing, business, or equivalent in combination of education and work experience.
  • 5 or more years in the area of project management and marketing communications
  • Experience working closely with the Sales Organization and proactively supporting field sales teams are a plus


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Up-to-date, integrative marketing, advertising and communication knowledge (incl. digital) on an international scope
  • Creative and strong business driven mindset with a great ability to develop effective storytelling including a stylistic ability with a very good sense for look, feel and tonality is ideal for this role
  • Strong project management skills, ability to drive projects with high sense of urgency and effectiveness
  • Excellent written and spoken proficiency in the English language is required
  • Hands on experience working with various Office-programs and Content Management Systems is required
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the healthcare industry, hospital and/or clinical processes in the field of Marketing Communications is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable to manage a defined set of marketing communication agencies based on brand guidelines
