Job Overview:
The Global Sales Training Manager is responsible for product training and the development of sales training content. This role is specifically responsible for developing Cardiac Assist sales training programs (syllabus and content) for the Cardiac Assist product lines (current and future) as well as monitor and continuously improve the training program (content and delivery) on an ongoing basis. Lastly, this role will work with the global sales organizations to ensure that training programs are scheduled appropriately and that training certifications are updated as needed. This role will work closely with the clinical marketing team to develop customer programs to provide technical training on the CA products.
Job Responsibilities
- Create, release and maintain Cardiac Assist product training programs.
- Identify and develop training materials for internal employees and external customers.
- Release the training program through our local quality management system.
- Train and educate field personnel to achieve prescribed standards of competence for; Basic, Qualified, Advanced and Train the trainer levels as deemed appropriate by line managers.
- Perform in-person training and virtually (as applicable), while measuring training effectiveness.
- Work with subject matter experts to create content and apply developed knowledge to ensure effective and efficient training sessions.
- Actively contribute as a member of the Cardiac Assist marketing team so that training is aligned and integrated into broader marketing priorities.
- Work with the GetLearning Support team to publish all training sessions as well as maintain all educational resources found in GetLearning (eLearning modules/videos).
- Maintain comprehensive documentation demonstrating training completion and follow-up.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree. MBA or advanced degree in relevant field preferred
- 5+ years field experience as CA Clinical Support Specialist or equivalent medical experience.
- Must have experience and knowledge in education and training facilitation.
- Must have advanced knowledge in Interventional Cardiology and/or Hemodynamic Support devices.
- Must be familiar with utilizing e-learning training tools.
- Must be a Licensed health care professional.
- A clinical background in counterpulsation preferred.
- Understanding of adult learning principles preferred.
- Must be comfortable with up to 30% domestic and/or international travel.
Salary range: $130k - $140k
