Position Overview:

The candidate will be a working in the Sustaining Engineer team and the following projects:

Job Duties:

Update Drawings / Specifications, Test product for protocols,

Communicate with Vendors, Create CN's, complete calibration requests,

send product to sterilizer

Work with tool designer and support Luer Standards testing

Support Stat-Gard Vendor Change Testing

Support Design Change Activities

Support Inspection Updates

Learning Outcomes

The candidate will gain experience dealing with departmental task / challenges within an organization that occurs day to day to support production as well as implementing changes to existing designs.

Background Experience:

• Currently a junior or senior student attending a 4-year undergraduate program, or working toward towards a Master's degree in a related life science field. 
• Minimum GPA of 3.0. 
• Excellent written, communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to details. 
• Strong interpersonal and team skills. 
• Advanced proficiency:  MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams 
• Biomedical, mechanical engineer degree.
• Previous Lab experience
• Solid works, CAD modeling
• Technical writing
• Mechanical/Lab testing
