Job Overview

 

The Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Administrator oversees the Blue Yonder (BY)  WMS.  The position acts as a first line of response for system issues and is responsible for the reconciliation of Blue Yonder (BY) to SAP and ensuring BY is performing as designed. The position works with Logistics Operations teams, IT, and Blue Yonder System providers to ensure optimal configurations for WMS conversions, enhancements, and new business requirements. 

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Expert technical knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS from an operational perspective; Able to data mine, conduct investigations, make adjustments, troubleshoot problems, and develop best practices.
  • Able to write and maintain reports and queries of BY data held in Snowflake DAAS utilizing PowerBI and other tools.
  • Able to write MOCAs commands and scripts.
  • Initiate and manage BY help tickets
  • Partner with IT and Blue Yonder to ensure system stability, reliability, and accuracy to meet business expectations.
  • Manage integration between BY and SAP. Ability to identify and correct all integration issues between both systems through the use of the THICK client.
  • Liaise with BY technical support team and operations on troubleshooting, improvements and future releases.
  • Responsible for BY configuration and master data
  • Responsible for project development and implementation to develop, implement and monitors sites performance systematically.

Position Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Blue Yonder Experience
  • Knowledge and experience with SQL, Java, and MOCA languages
  • Knowledge of BY cloud environments, integration tasks, MTF server tasks, and other BY functionality
  • Proven relevant knowledge of Supply Chain, plant and/or warehouse operations.
  • Excellent time management, communications, decision-making, organization, human relations, presentation, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Detail oriented and excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient computer skills, experience in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL, PowerBI, Blue Yonder

Supervision/Management of Others:

  • The position does not supervise other employees

Internal and External Contacts/Relationships

  • Internal: Warehouse and Logistics team, IT, Getinge employees
  • External: Working relationships with Blue Yonder, consultants

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

  • Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions
  • Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments
  • May work extended hours during peak business cycles.

The base salary is a minumum of $88,000 and a maximum of $120,000 plus 10% annual bonus.
