About the role: 

We are looking for a passionate and clinically experienced Clinical Account Manager to join our Acute Care Therapies (ACT) team, based in Adelaide, South Australia. This is a newly created hybrid role that blends sales performance with hands-on clinical education and product support.

 

In this dynamic, field-based position, you will:

  • Drive sales of our life-saving Acute Care Therapies portfolio including ventilators, ECMO systems, IABPs, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and associated consumables.
  • Lead account management for hospitals across South Australia, while also providing clinical education and application support across the southern states (occasional travel to WA, VIC, etc.).
  • Partner closely with our National Sales and Clinical Applications teams to deliver targeted training, support clinical trials and installations, and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Be the go-to expert in Critical Care solutions, facilitating workshops and building lasting clinical relationships that drive portfolio growth.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets within the SA territory
  • Deliver tailored clinical training, product demonstrations, and in-servicing to support product adoption
  • Contribute to tenders and quotations with a clinical lens
  • Proactively identify and nurture new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate CRM records using GForce and Getsales
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan product launches, and ensure compliance with QA and WHS standards

 

 

About you:

You’ll bring a strong clinical background in critical care—for example, as an ICU nurse, perfusionist, respiratory therapist, or similar—and a genuine interest in medical device sales and account management. You may be an experienced Territory Manager ready for your next challenge, or a clinical professional looking to transition into a commercially focused role.

 

Success Profile:

  • Clinically confident and comfortable discussing high-acuity therapies like ECMO, ventilators, and cardiac support
  • Customer-focused with the ability to educate and build strong relationships
  • Motivated, adaptable, and proactive in identifying and driving opportunities
