Paragonix Technologies markets organ transportation devices that safeguard organs during the journey between donor and recipient patients. Our devices incorporate clinically proven and medically trusted hypothermic preservation techniques in a novel suspension system to provide unprecedented physical and thermal protection. Our product portfolio spans cardiac, thoracic, and abdominal preservation devices to improve donor organ quality and extend donor organ transport time.  Paragonix also markets transplant services and organ screening to the transplant community.

 

Position Overview:

The Vice President, Product Management is a leadership role responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and execution across Paragonix’ s portfolio of products and services. This individual will lead the Product Management function, ensuring alignment with company strategy, market opportunities, and customer needs while delivering measurable business outcomes.

 

The VP will partner cross-functionally with Leadership, R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, Services and Operations teams to drive innovation, portfolio growth, and successful commercialization. This role requires strong strategic leadership, business acumen, and the ability to build and scale a high-performing product organization.

 

 

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

 

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and lead the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company goals and market needs
  • Identify and prioritize new product opportunities and portfolio expansion initiatives
  • Ensure the product portfolio supports revenue growth, market differentiation, and long-term scalability

 

 

Portfolio Management & Execution

  • Oversee the full product lifecycle across all product lines—from ideation through commercialization and post-market optimization
  • Establish and manage portfolio prioritization, investment planning, and resource allocation
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and drive continuous improvement

 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Product Management team
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and career development for product leaders
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Services, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution
  • Drive coordination of product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Ensure seamless product launches and ongoing portfolio optimization

 

Customer & Market Insights

  • Lead customer engagement efforts to gather insights and translate needs into product requirements
  • Oversee market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions
  • Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs), customers, and industry stakeholders

 

Communication

  • Present product strategy, roadmap, and performance metrics to leadership
  • Align product initiatives with financial goals and long-term company strategy
  • Provide regular updates on risks, opportunities, and portfolio performance

 

 

 

Required Knowledge & Skills:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 15+ years of progressive product management experience, including senior leadership experience
  • Proven track record of leading product organizations and delivering successful product portfolios
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare technology, or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

 

Other Requirements:

 

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum Experience: 15+ years of related experience with leadership scope
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience scaling product teams and managing complex product portfolios in a high-growth environment
  • Travel: Approximately 30–50%

 

US BASED SALARY - The minimum base salary for this position is $230,000 and the maximum salary is $280,000 plus 30% in annual bonus
