Based in Brisbane, we are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our close-knit Customer Service team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, as a parental leave cover.
About the role
This is a varied, hands-on customer service role supporting both internal and external stakeholders across two product portfolios. You’ll play a key part in ensuring orders are processed accurately and customers receive timely, customer-centric support throughout the order lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
- Manage inbound customer calls, handling enquiries such as order ETAs, missing orders, sales representative queries and general support
- Process customer orders, purchase orders and quotations
- Investigate freight and backorders
- Work across G-Force (CRM) and SAP, where all orders are raised as cases and processed through SAP
- Provide pre and post sales support including order acknowledgements, pricing checks
- Liaise closely with Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Accounts Receivable and Contracts teams
About you
You’re a reliable and adaptable customer service professional who enjoys variety, teamwork and learning new systems. You don’t need industry-specific experience, but you do need strong fundamentals and a willingness to hit the ground running.
You will bring:
- 2–3 years’ experience in a customer service or customer-facing role (manufacturing, distribution, medical or healthcare highly regarded).
- Strong computer skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work autonomously.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
- A proactive, resilient mindset and a genuine commitment to quality and safety.
