Based in Sydney, we are seeking a Service Coordinator to join our Service Team on a 24-month Fixed Term contract. As the first point of contact for service activities, you will play a central role in coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance, managing service contracts, and ensuring all work is allocated to the right Field Service Engineers (FSEs). You’ll work closely with Service Managers, Supervisors, Engineers, and customers to keep service operations running smoothly, while contributing to team revenue and performance targets.
About the role:
In this role you will:
- Answer customer calls, register requests, and create service work orders.
- Assign, schedule, and dispatch FSEs using service management systems.
- Monitor work in progress, reconcile FSE hours, and support payroll processes.
- Prepare quotes for time & materials, preventative maintenance, and renewals.
- Manage service order closures, purchase requisitions, and customer follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
About you:
- 1–2 years’ experience in a service coordination or customer service role (experience with SAP highly regarded).
- Strong technical acumen and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, with efficient data entry and system use.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, team-focused approach with the ability to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical technology environment (desirable).
