With a passion for life

Join our diverse teams of passionate people and a career that allows you to develop both personally and professionally. At Getinge we exist to make life-saving technology accessible for more people. To make a true difference for our customers – and to save more lives, we need team players, forward thinkers, and game changers.

Are you looking for an inspiring career? You just found it.

What if your job was to make a global medtech company move forward through digital transformation and future‑ready ways of working? In this role we're looking for someone who doesn't just talk about digital transformation. You will actuallybuild it! You are someone who sees a broken internal process — how teams collaborate, how data flows, how decisions get made — and thinks: I can fix that. Someone who hears "AI" and reaches for a prototype, not a buzzword deck.

This role sits inside Getinge's Digital Health Solutions function, a part of our Surgical Workflow business area where we develop solutions and products used in operating rooms worldwide. You will work at the intersection of process design, AI, and organizational change, and play a key role in shaping how the business operates, improving internal workflows, simplifying manual processes, and helping teams to truly embrace AI‑enabled tools.

What You'll Do

This isn't a "sit in meetings and align stakeholders" role. In this role you will:

  • Go into the problem space. Run discovery sessions with internal teams, map how work gets done today, and find where the real friction and waste live
  • Design solutions that colleagues will actually use. Not theoretical frameworks, but internal workflows, automations, and AI-enabled tools that enables more effective daily operations
  • Build and ship. That might mean configuring a platform, writing automation scripts, deploying an AI model, or stitching systems together
  • Run real experiments with hypotheses, metrics, and timeboxes. And remove what doesn't work
  • Scale what works. Your process improvements, governance models, and AI workflows don't stay in one team — they become the standard way of working across DHS and Surgical Workflows globally

Why This Role Is Different

  • You own outcomes, not activities. We measure success by solutions adopted and working, not by slide decks delivered or workshops held
  • You bridge worlds. Process design meets AI engineering meets deep organizational understanding.
  • Your work matters. When you help the organization run better, you're enabling the teams who build and deliver Getinge's surgical workflow solutions worldwide
  • You are part of a team that ships. Our Process Development, AI & Cybersecurity function builds and deploys real solutions. We don't just advise; we deliver
  • You will keep growing. This is a hybrid role by design. Strong in process? You will deepen your AI skills and at the same timedevelop real process and UX capability

What You Bring

You don't need to tick every box. But you should recognize yourself in this:

  • Several years in process improvement, internal digital transformation, or software engineering
  • Experience from an organization complex enough that you had to navigate ambiguity, stakeholders, and change resistance.
  • Real strength in at least one of these tracks (and genuine interest in the other)
  • Process & Experience: service design, UX research, lean methods, facilitation, journey mapping
  • Technology & AI: software development, scripting, automation, AI/ML frameworks, cloud services
  • A track record of shipping. You've delivered implemented solutions, not just analysis decks or recommendations
  • Experience working across internal functions (Quality, IT, operations, R&D) where you had to translate between different worlds and get people to change how they work
  • The ability to communicate clearly with both a director in a strategy meeting and a specialist doing the daily work on the ground
  • Fluent in English and an interest to work in an international team

What Getinge Offers

  • A role with real impact. Your work transforms how Getinge's own teams operate — and that improvement flows through to the healthcare professionals who depend on what we deliver
  • A hybrid process-and-tech career path. We invest in developing both sides of your capability, not boxing you into one lane
  • A global medtech platform. Getinge operates in 40+ countries — and the internal solutions, processes, and AI workflows you build here can scale across the entire organization
  • An innovation-forward team. Our DHS Process Development, AI & Cybersecurity function is building the internal digital capability that makes the organization smarter and faster
  • Copenhagen as your base. One of Europe's best cities for tech, design, and quality of life
  • Hybrid work setup. Opportunity to work remotely 3-4 days/week.
