Become our new Application Specialist 

As an Application Specialist | Standard Products, you play a key role at the intersection of technology, sales, and customer success. You are the expert supporting our standard bioreactor portfolio by translating customer needs into accurate quotations, configurations, and orders. With your technical insight and commercial mindset, you help ensure a smooth order process and support sales in winning and realizing customer projects worldwide.

Your challenge:

In this role, you elevate the customer experience by combining technical expertise with operational excellence. By working closely with Sales, Product Management, Production, and Customer Service, you ensure that standard bioreactor solutions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations. Your contribution directly supports Getinge’s mission to deliver high‑quality, compliant life‑science solutions.

What will you do?

• Provide technical and commercial support to customers and the global sales organization for standard single‑use and multi‑use bioreactor systems
• Prepare and manage quotations and orders, ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal guidelines
• Review commercial orders and coordinate configurable orders with planning and production preparation
• Maintain and continuously improve quotation and configuration systems, including processing product changes in collaboration with Product Management
• Prepare, release, and safeguard accurate configuration documentation for production and ERP systems (SAP)
• Support and coordinate product demonstrations, trainings, seminars, and promotional activities
• Collect and register customer feedback, complaints, and improvement suggestions and ensure proper follow‑up

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Vocational degree (MBO) or equivalent, preferably in a technical related field
• Strong technical affinity and understanding of bioreactor systems and their applications
• Excellent commercial and communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Comfortable working with ERP systems, quotation tools, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions
• Accurate, structured, and solution‑oriented way of working
