Become our new Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our advanced bioreactor systems at customer sites worldwide. You are the expert who keeps our equipment running smoothly and supports customers in getting the most out of their systems.
Your challenge:
In this role, you are responsible for delivering high-quality service and technical support, both on-site and remotely. You act as a trusted partner for customers, solving complex technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to continuous improvement of our products and services.
What will you do?
- Install, maintain, and repair complex equipment at customer sites and in the workshop
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues and perform corrective and preventive maintenance
- Provide technical support to customers, distributors, and colleagues, both on-site and remotely
- Instruct and train customers on the correct operation of equipment
- Prepare and document service reports following service and maintenance activities
- Conduct pre-inspections and planned service visits according to maintenance agreements
- Support distributors and assist in service training sessions
- Contribute feedback from the field to improve products, processes, and serviceability
- Ensure proper use, calibration, and maintenance of tools and equipment
- Work in compliance with quality standards and safety regulations
Knowledge, skills and experience
- MBO (technical vocational) degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
- Solid understanding of technical systems and equipment
- Hands-on, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and in an international environment
- Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
- Good command of English
- Valid driver’s license
