Manage the Bioreactor Product Portfolio as our Senior Product Line Manager 

 

Are you experienced in biotechnology and eager to work in a dynamic commercial business environment? If so, keep reading to find out if this position aligns with your career goals!

 

As a Senior Product Line Manager, you will play a key role in driving the commercial success of our upstream bioprocessing solutions. By conducting thorough market and competitor research, you will identify emerging trends and innovative techniques in the Life Sciences and biotechnology industries. Your goal will be to grow, refine and extend the existing product range aligns with customer  and market needs.

 

You will oversee the performance of your product portfolio, providing essential support to both internal and external sales teams to help achieve commercial targets. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Product Development team, offering insights that guide the development and implementation of new technologies. In this position, you will be involved in the entire lifecycle of bioreactor systems, ensuring that customer feedback is central to every stage of the process within Getinge Applikon.

 

Moreover, you will manage commercial documentation related to your products, training and engage in commercial activities.

 

Your challenge: 

 

You have the ability to identify market opportunities and translate these into commercial business opportunities. With your broad bioprocessing perspective, you are able to set the right priorities in a dynamic and competitive environment.

 

You will manage product launches across different regions, measure product performance and take necessary actions to ensure commercial success.

 

With your bioprocessing understanding you will have a pivotal role for our customers and sales organization by ensuring we have the right product portfolio for the current and future bioprocessing industry.

 

What will you do? 

 

  • Represent the voice-of-the-customer within the organization
  • Supporting internal and external sales teams by providing up-to-date product information
  • Manage commercial product launches
  • Manage the product roadmap for your product portfolio
  • Develop market requirements for new products based on market intelligence and customer feedback
  • Prepare product sales trainings
  • Monitor, analyze, and report global product performance.
  • Maintain product information for internal and external sales and marketing departments
  • Maintain communication with distributors and customers to gather market intelligence
  • Participate in exhibitions to support global sales, representing the organization and to explore new business opportunities
  • Conduct seminars and webinars and representing the organization at customer meetings and conferences.

 

Knowledge, skills and experience  

 

  • Completed MSc in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field, combined with 3 to 5 years of experience within the bioprocessing industry.
  • A commercial mindset with hands-on commercial experience and a strong affinity for biotechnology.
  • Passion for R&D within Life Sciences and Biotechnology, with the ambition to shape the future of upstream bioprocessing solutions.
  • Solid understanding of bioprocessing applications, including single-use technologies and their market relevance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate customer and market needs into product strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is considered a strong advantage; knowledge of GMP principles is preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
