Become a Technical Buyer at Getinge

Do you have technical experience and enjoy working in a purchasing department? Read on and find out if this position is right for you!

As a Technical Buyer, you are responsible for both the administrative support and monitoring the purchase of standard and non-standard items. You maintain close contact with purchasing relationships and suppliers to request quotes for the required materials or services. Additionally, you manage the portfolio regarding price, delivery conditions, quality, and packaging. You ensure that the necessary materials are delivered on time by making agreements with suppliers and independently placing orders in the system.

What will you do?

• Setting up and ordering purchase and make parts.
• Compiling and managing order files.
• Following up, checking, and processing order confirmations.
• Providing purchasing data to project teams.
• Reminding and claiming from suppliers.
• Handling quality issues.
• Participating in evaluation meetings for projects.
• Providing up-to-date prices and delivery times in the ERP system.

Knowledge, skills, and experience

• MBO+ education with a technical background.
• NEVI I is a plus.
• Service-oriented attitude towards internal customers.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Good command of Dutch and English (oral and written).
• Flexible and proactive work attitude.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Administratively accurate.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
